Basement Clear Up Continues

Work has been on-going throughout the summer to scrape out the old mortar and to repoint the masonry for the Old Bathurst Post Office foundations.  The result is spectacular, and helps keep the basement area free of water ingress and damp.  Funding from the Community Fund has help make this work possible and we are extremely grateful to René Legacy for his continued support.  Next step in the process is to replace the old wooden basement doors with new custom made steel doors to help fully protect the basement and the foundations from the elements
